Oracle GRC Suite

I have been confused with the acronyms of GRC that have been flying around in my recent project. So i just thought of writing a piece on the GRC Suite. hope it helps!!




Oracle GRC ( Oracle Governance Risk and Compliance) has the following products.

• Oracle Governance Risk Compliance Controls (GRCC)

• Oracle Preventative Controls Governor (PCG)
• Oracle Application Access Controls Governor (AACG)
• Oracle Configuration Controls Governor (CCG)
• Oracle Transaction Controls Governor (TCG)

• Oracle Governance Risk Compliance Intelligence (GRCI)
• Internal Controls Manager (ICM)
• Oracle Enterprise Governance Risk Compliance Manager (EGRCM).

AACG, TCG and EGRCM
When you install say Oracle GRC 8.6.4.500 you actually install AACG, TCG and EGRCM they are bundled with Oracle GRC 8.6.4.500 (16178807) patch.

PCG
Is installed on the E-Busines Suite Application Server. This is a separate Executable found on the edelivery.com (aks Oracle Software Delivery Cloud.

CCG 
Is installed separately on a separate welogic server. This is a separate Executable found on the edelivery.com (aka Oracle Software Delivery Cloud).

EGRCI
Is installed separately through a patch 16178833 (ORACLE FUSION GOVERNANCE, RISK, AND COMPLIANCE INTELLIGENCE 8.6.4.5259).
Internal Controls Manager (ICM) 
Is a module in EBS Release 12 and needs to be set up to be used.
