Today I finished a never ending upgrade from R12.1.1 to R12.1.3....7 days
including a weekend aggrr ...
Installation of R12.1.1 was not a problem. The problem was the patch application and i feel it was mainly because of our server. Some of the things i would like to share if in case you are going an upgrade.ation of the patch.
Used the adpatch option=nocompiledb while applying the patch because during our first attempt to apply the patch the patch hung at invalid object compilation. i compiled the objects after the applic
- Patch hanged on a worker at LoadMap.class
Action: Failed the job using adctrl and the patch continued after 20mins.
- Patch hanged on a worker at appostimportaad.sql.
Action: Refer to Note - 748501.1
- Number of FFP% packages invalid.
Action: Use the following command from FF_TOP/bin - FFXBCP apps/apps 0 Y %% %%
