How to Remove Error Workflow Notifications from Work list
In some of the Oracle users Work-list, will have multiple notifications with Error message "Document Manager Failed with Error Number 3 while processing Purchase Requisition XXXX". This error will occur when there are no Approvers to approve that purchasing document OR due to system glitch all the approvals will get stuck. In this case, we need to define the proper approval hierarchy and run the "Fill Employee Hierarchy" concurrent. To fix the system glitch issue, we need to bounce the Apache servers. Once this issue has fixed, we need to remove all the error notifications from the Work list.
Query one of the Oracle user's Work list and check the error notifications. In our case, one User (RIG166) have reported to remove all the error notifications. To remove the error notifications, follow the below steps.
Responsibility: Workflow Administrator
Navigation: Administrator Workflow > Administration
Go to "Notifications Search" TAB and query the Workflow Notifications for a particular user.
Query the Notifications:
It has retrieved all the Notifications.
Enable the "Select" check box and click "Open" to open the Notification for Purchase Requisition# 443150 and check the error details.
Error Message Details:
To remove this Error Notification, click on "Retry".
When click on the "Retry", it will remove the notification and will return to "Work List" page automatically.
Purchase Requisition# 443150 workflow notification have been removed from the Work list.
Open all the error notifications and perform "Retry" in all the notifications. It will remove all the error notifications from the Work list.
All the error notifications are successfully removed from the Work list for that particular user.
