How to Open/Close General Ledger Period

Open GL Period:
Navigation: General Leger Super User > Setup > Open/Close
1.    Select 'Ledger' and Status should be 'Any', Click Find button
2.    Highlight the period you’d like to open and then Click on Open Period button
3.    Save your work
4.    A concurrent program 'Open Period' will launch to open the period requested.
5.    Please verify the status of the request (View -> Requests)

Close GL Period:
Navigation: General Leger Super User > Setup > Open/Close
1.  Select the Period and type 'Closed' in the Status against the period that is desired to be closed
2.  Click on the Save icon on the menu
3.  A concurrent program 'Periods - Close Period' will launch to open the period requested
4.  Please verify the status of the request (View -> Requests)
