- Navigate to Global HRMS Manager > Work Structures > Position > Description.
- Description > New
- Change the effective date on which you want to create the new position.
Now click on the name.
Select the appropriate values in the above shown segments.
You can amend the segments according to your own requirements (Key Flexfield Segments).
The values in the above segments are Key Flexfield Values.
Click OK.
- Select the position type (i.e Single incumbent or Shared).
- Select the relevant Organization and Job.
- Select the hiring status as active.
Save your work and Click "Reporting To" to put the position into the Position Hierarchy under the relevant parent.
- Select the Position Hierarchy and Parent positon.
Save your work.
Now go to "Hiring Information" tab to enter further information regarding the position created,
- Enter the Head Count and FTE information
- Further more enter the probation period, payroll name, grade and salary basis. (This information will be automatically populated on the Person's assignment form when the position will be assigned to a person).
