Issue arises when : The user tries to create a Requisition through the Purchasing Responsibility, the error is displayed.
Resolution: This resolution is to first define the Purchasing Options properly. To ensure that the error doesnt occur, ensure that the following 3 types of Options are properly defined.
1. Financials Options : navigate to Purchasing -> Setup -> Organizations -> Financial Options
2. Purchasing Options : navigate to Purchasing -> Setup -> Organizations -> Purchasing Options
3. Receiving Options : navigate to Purchasing -> Setup -> Organizations -> Receiving Options
Define the above options properly at the Operating Unit level (Financial Options and Purchasing Options) and Inventory Organization Level (Receiving Options).
Once these options are set, create the requisition. The requisition should be created successfully as follows:
